THE BBC has revealed it’s commentary line up for Euro 2024.
The presenters include the likes of Mark Champman, Gary Lineker, Alex Scott and Gabby Logan.
Steve Bower will work with the BBC at the Euros[/caption]Meanwhile, big name pundits such as Rio Ferdinand and Jermaine Jenas will feature among others.
Steve Bower is one of the commentators who will be part of the broadcaster’s team in Germany.
Who is Steve Bower?
Bower has been part of the BBC‘s major tournament coverage for well over a decade.
He was born in Cheshire in 1973.
Bower started his career at Radio City Liverpool in 1991, and has gone on to cover club football from non-league all the way up to the Champions League.
In 1996 Bower was appointed the Head of Sport at Piccadilly Radio in Manchester, at the time making him the youngest sports editor in UK Independent Radio.
Between September 1998 and 2007 Bower worked as a commentator and presenter on MUTV. He then made the move to Setanta Sports in a similar role.
He moved into freelance work from 2009, which included working with ESPN where he focused on European League coverage.
Since 2014 he has been the No2 commentator for TNT Sports – formerly BT Sport – coverage of the Europa League.
Bower’s work has also seen him appear on Sky and BBC while he is currently a presenter on Premier League productions for worldwide viewers.
He is also a presenter for Amazon Prime UK coverage of the Premier League.
